Iam not really that comfortable with people watching me while on my computer and then going ahead and sharing it with other advertisers, but i mean if they have to do that then i guess its alright. I also think that there should be a law against it. No, i never really noticed that my own interests to the websites. Websites should be able to track if you are doing a wrong thing on the Internet but not if your just on Facebook or google, but if you are doing something terrible wrong. Yes, i agree that websites should require consent before they track you because you never know who could end up on your doorstep trying to kill you or hurt you. Well in a way YES because i know what this means now iam kind of scared to put pictures on but i mean i don't mind Facebook. I think that it is fair for universities to check out your personal information because its only fair but they really don't have to base it all on you.

The thing that appeals the most to me as a reader is the news, i rather read the newspaper because its more revealing and more real life. In deliver news the newspaper is the most effective on the website. Online newspaper is more likley to attract more people because people get bored and have nothing better to do. I would not do that much to impove the newspaper.What is each paper’s strongest attribute?
How dominate is advertising in both versions? ?????

The part of the paper that i would high light would be the news part, i would make it more interesting and focus on it more other than sports and the other things. The parts of the newspaper that i would leave out would be the sports and the other boring things. I would try to appeal to the board audience, other than one particular. I would advertise my paper over a billboard then a website. The goals i was set would be to focus on more than one topic i would go more open with the website, instead of focusing on one topic.

Reading Levels in newspaper!! December 9,2008

No, newspaper are not written at too low of a reading level because if they were any harder i would not be able to understand it. Sometimes the newspaper can be written at to hard of reading level, the Miramichi Leader for example is written at a to easy reading level. The Times and Transcript is written at a to hard of a written level because there is so many different topics in one newspaper. I do not think that there will be any impact on the newspaper because people really don't look at the reading levels, Basically look at the newspaper to see what the news is and to see what is happening or upcoming events. So i think that the reading levels does not matter to me.

My experience with newspaper is good, because when i go online to Yahoo, i always look at the lastest news. I often read the newspaper the most because i work and there is always a newspaper there to read. I get my local news from the newspaper known as the Miramichi Leader. I barley go online to get local news. Well, newspapers need to focus more on today's news and not worry what is happening in other countries because they need something that is happening today. If they put more interesting things in the newspaper than maybe than it will catch more peoples attention. Yes i think that the Internet will become a main source of news because more and more people are checking out the news online. the state of newspaper 25 yes years will be history because people are going to get there information/news from the internet.

Prince Charles Spends 60th birthday Promoting Charity work!

Prince Charles has taken a break from a round of parties marking his 60th birthday to promote the work of his leading charity

Charles attended the launch of a new project run by his Prince's Trust as he passed the milestone year on Friday.
His wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, was by his side as he visited the Beckton Community Centre in east London to launch Youth Week, a campaign to highlight the positive contributions young people can make to society.

1,700 fill church for Brandon Crisp funeral

About 1,700 people packed an Ontario church Friday for the funeral of a teenager who ran away from home following a dispute over video games.
Many of Brandon Crisp's friends and classmates carried yellow roses, or wore yellow scarves and ties as they entered St. Mary's Church in Barrie. Yellow ribbons had been posted around the community as a symbol of hope during the three-week search for Brandon, who went missing on Thanksgiving Day.

Family friend Gordon Sweetzer delivered the eulogy during the traditional Roman Catholic mass, reading letters to Brandon written by his father, mother and two sisters.
Crisp, 15, ran away from home after arguing with his parents about the amount of time he spent playing an Xbox video game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. His parents had taken away the game console because they feared he was addicted.

I agree with his point because the pyramid does coming in handy. When i read an article i would want it like a story, so that i can understand it better and makes more since that Quick and fast. If it was quick and fast it would get right to the point and make no sense. I think it does matter on the type of article because if the article it long than that's where the story theme comes in place and if it is long than that where the quick and fast comes in. The story theme i would want to wait and get to the point at the end and in the quick and fast one they get right to it. As a reader i would like for the article to be a story theme other than quick and fast.

A:The story Iam watching is about these dogs that have cancer. They gather at Toronto's king Edward hotel. The workers set the table, with china and they have all kinds of treats. The guests are different not the kind you expect. They are dogs with cancer or who have survived it.

Q: What is the establishing shot in the video?

A:The establishing shot in this video is the dog treats in the table, the dogs and the fine china being set for the dogs.

A:The introduction in this video is dogs that have cancer. They also talk about how dogs have the same cancer that humans have and they are living longer

Very Rude Interview! October 16, 2008 (Journal #7)

Frum did matain her cool and asked the questions she felt were the most important. If she had got any more agressive it probably would have resulted in, fighting or she would have told her off, or maybe just hung up towards the middle of the interview,which she did at the end. One of the questions that was effective was, "when did you see her last", this question caught my attention becuase how she went off talking about trees and poeple in the world, this question had nothing to do with the response she gave.

If i ever had to interview any like Sandra Good, and was in Frum's seat and having to talk to this women, and had an interview that went wrong i would not even go on i would tell her that would be it and say goodbye and hang up, but in her case she needs to talk this women. I would just keep my cool. I would like to do a video or written interview in the tickle trunk department because i could not do an interview over the phone without seeing someones face.

I never ever thought for one minute that the newspaper i read would ever be fake or a lie.I was kinda in shock when i read these artciles about the newspaer and thought it was pretty wierd. I was surpised to find out that they would actually make a newspaper a lie. I think that they should be doing a better job when they graduate the students, they should be graduating the students that can handle the journalism requirements instead of faking it all.

The newspaper today is alot different from the one in 1690. Some obivous differances are the writing and the heading, its alot fancier and todays newspaper it just plain boring. The goverment then was alot more harder to get along with. They are crictal because they have to be to keep peoples attention, if they wer'nt they would not be able to publish, so thats why they keep it going. I surpised to hear that the first newespaper was in Hailfax and i thought maybe it would be in Nova Soctia for some reason.

The website i looked at is called http://www.uxbridge.com/kids/fr_kids.html, its basically about these 3 kids who publish there poems but its a pretty old site. The poems on there are good and have a lot of color. The poems and storys are effective because little kids wrote them and put a lot of work into it. I like this website because it has alot of color and it even has a biography about the kids. I would like to model it by putting lots of color in it and maybe the kids would give us there poems and if we have a winner then we could do like a biography on them and put them on the site.

The video i watch is very dull and boring and did not make a whole lot of since. the camera in this video was used well. But, the lighting could of been better, maybe a little more color and alot more lighting.the planning was alright to but i did not care to much for it.
The video is not that effective because its just a bunch of gps things in the sky making the innocent girl go around in circles. The elements that are strong in the video maybe the color which is the only thing and its not even that good. i actual did not care to much for this video it just caught my eye and i would not a video like this on the school newspaper is would be pretty boring.

Our newspaper, is kinda boring now we should spice it up some. I think we should put more pictures of the students, sports. Also we should have some videos on the newspaper, maybe video some games after school and post them to see the winning goal or maybe for those who are into sports and missed a game that they can get caught up. My favotive school newspaper site, I looked at would have to be "Sliver Chips". Sliver Chips has pictures of students, activies that go on at the school it just caught my eye i guess. What i liked about Sliver Chips is that its has alot of videos and just nice how their website is set up.Our newspaper should have alot more eye catching stuff.
In the newspaper i would like to work on the tickle trunk.
